EMPATHY FOR ARTIFICIAL EMOTIONS
Empathy of Artificial Emotions demonstrates the transformative potential of AI–driven art in public spaces. Installed on a 14–meter–high LED screen in a retail environment, participants begin by scanning a QR code to access a digital interface. They select one of AI–generated black–and–white portraits and assign emotions such as joy, sadness, or fear. The AI processes these inputs, generating vibrant, dynamic visualizations that reflect participants’ emotional choices.
The artwork evolves into a collaborative expression, blending human emotions with AI interpretation. Passive observers within the space also engage indirectly, witnessing the transformation of portraits and the atmospheric changes brought by vivid colors and movements. This layered interaction fosters a shared emotional experience, inviting both participants and onlookers to connect with the artwork on different levels.
